I have thirty-two plus years of experience taking Oscillococcinum. In this time I have been sick about once every five or six years. And I have never had a flu of any type. When I feel as if I might be coming down with something, I take it right away as directed — which is immediately.
My favorite method is my own, in which I take one vial daily every day that I am exposed to someone who is ill. For example, when my two daughters were children and living at home, every time one or both was sick, I would take a vial until I was confident that they were no longer contagious. If I notice someone is sick and standing next to me at the grocery store, when I get home, I will take a vial. I also take it every time after visiting a medical building or entering a doctor’s office.
Since taking Oscillococcinum for the first time, I have only come down with a cold when I have run out of it or when I have failed to take it immediately upon recognizing symptoms such as sneezing, sore throat or swollen glands.
If Oscillococcinum doesn’t work, tell me why my husband, children and friends all get repeated colds, and I’ve only been sick maybe five or six times in thirty-two years?
