But I am not whole, and neither are most of these people who think they are. They just rip through people like me until they’re unable to mask the fact that they’re not-whole just like almost everyone else and end up over 40, in therapy, in a bottle, or addicted to a thousand other things that give them a temporary respite from looking inwards at their not-whole selves.
