Sorry for all my comments, but I couldn’t help myself. This story is my most favorite I’ve read on Medium in my almost three years. You write beautifully, and you seem to be a wonderful son, husband and father. It’s apparent that you have it all together at a young age. Your father took almost a lifetime to learn what you’ve learned in a short amount of time. I’m sorry that your dad lost his wife, and I’m sorry that you lost your mother, but I feel that your mother’s death is what he needed to grow as a person.
