That’s interesting, but I don’t think that’s what it was. Many years later when I was undergoing testing for infertility, I needed to have my cervix dilated, though, because it never did on its own. In fact, when I was in premature labor, I was effaced 100 percent but never dilated. I’m also the one who had a tumor called a schwannoma. I’m weird!
